DeSIRA-LIFT is looking for an expert to conduct a rapid review of regional agricultural policies in Africa.
The aim of the assignment is to identify the mandates, policies and priorities of the African Regional Economic Communities (RECs) regarding the agricultural sector in their constituencies and particularly to which extent the RECs are investing or are interested in supporting agroecological approaches (or related themes). The review also includes several regional bodies (inter-governmental committees and economic and monetary unions).
The review is expected to take place in the period September 2023 – November 2023.
Interested candidates are invited to review the Terms of References and submit their applications (a cover letter and a CV that highlights relevant experience against the requested profile) to desira.lift@wur.nl.
