DeSIRA-LIFT is looking for two experts for Service Area 1, to support services to the portfolio of 69 research and innovation projects under the DeSIRA Initiative Pillar 1:
The objective of the assignment is to conduct a transversal analysis of about 25 DeSIRA projects’ strategies and bottlenecks to contribute to outcomes and impacts in the enabling environments of agricultural innovation in countries (i.e. institutional and policy environments), in a variety of contexts, over the three continents in the Global South. The assignment will comprise a maximum of 40 working days, between 1st June 2023 and 31st May 2024. The daily fee rate is a maximum of 700 euro.
The expert needs to have at least 12 years relevant professional experience, with experience in agricultural innovation, agrifood system transformation and policies.

The objective of the assignment is to design and implement an online course for 50 DeSIRA project teams on how to communicate research, with a specific focus on three learning products: policy briefs, research briefs and stories of change. See the Terms of Reference for more detail.
The assignment will comprise a maximum of 40 working days, between 1st June 2023 and 31st May 2024. The daily fee rate is a maximum of 700 euro.
The expert needs to have at least 12 years relevant professional experience, with experience in areas directly relevant to communication for development.
