DeSIRA-LIFT is looking for two experts for Service Area 1, to support services to the portfolio of 69 research and innovation projects under the DeSIRA Initiative Pillar 1.
One of DeSIRA-LIFT’s key objectives is to generate actionable knowledge and advice for African and European decision makers on the potential of Agricultural Knowledge and Innovation Systems for sustainable, climate-resilient, and inclusive food systems.
DeSIRA-LIFT has initiated a scoping study to explore the opportunities and challenges associated with off-farm production, marketing, and utilization of organic and biofertilizers.
In February 2023, the DeSIRA Initiative was featured in the 11th issue of the magazine of the Global Climate Change Alliance Plus (EU GCCA+ Review of Climate).

Support to the country-based DeSIRA projects to enhance their impacts by promoting Agricultural Innovation Systems (AIS) thinking and the use of developmental evaluation approaches.
Support to co-create knowledge and evidence to feed policy dialogues and programming on agri-food systems in the Global South.
